QuizGenius vs Quizlet: the free Quizlet alternative that makes the cards for you
Stop typing flashcards or hoping someone made a set for your course. QuizGenius builds questions and flashcards from your own notes, schedules them with spaced repetition, and costs naira, not dollars.
The short answer
On Quizlet you either type every card yourself or hope a stranger made a set that matches your lecturer. QuizGenius makes the deck from your own notes, quizzes you in exam formats, and brings each card back on the day you are about to forget it.
Why students switch from Quizlet
- No typing. Upload the lecture PDF or snap your notes; get flashcards and practice questions in seconds.
- Your course, not someone else's. Cards come from the exact material you will be examined on.
- Real spaced repetition. Each rating shows the next interval ("3 days", "3 weeks"), the schedule syncs across devices, and Home lists what is due.
- More than flashcards. An AI tutor, mind maps, concept maps, your notes as MP3 audio, a study timer and a syllabus tracker.
- Naira pricing. From ₦1,000 a week, paid with Paystack or bank transfer — no dollar card needed.
