Is QuizGenius a good NotebookLM alternative for students?

Yes, for exam preparation. QuizGenius turns your PDFs, slides and photos into practice questions and flashcards, schedules the flashcards with spaced repetition, saves your notes as MP3 audio, and tracks your study hours and syllabus. NotebookLM is built for researching and understanding sources.

Can QuizGenius turn my notes into audio like NotebookLM?

Yes. Save as audio turns any note into an MP3 read by a natural voice, which you can listen to offline or share on WhatsApp. It reads your own notes word for word, so what you hear is exactly what you will be examined on.

Does NotebookLM have spaced repetition?

NotebookLM makes flashcards and quizzes from your sources, but Google does not describe them as a spaced-repetition scheduler. QuizGenius schedules every saved card, shows when each will come back, syncs that schedule across your devices, and lists the cards due today.

QuizGenius has a free plan with 3 AI generations a day, and the timer, syllabus tracker and flashcard reviews are free. Pro starts at ₦1,000 a week, ₦3,000 a month or ₦6,000 for three months.

Hear your own notes, not a summary of them

NotebookLM's Audio Overviews are an AI conversation about your sources. QuizGenius reads your notes themselves, sentence by sentence, in a natural voice — and it understands study notes: "β-blockers ↓ HR" is read as "beta-blockers decreased HR", where other readers skip the symbols. Save it as an MP3 and revise with your eyes closed.
